Spelling 11/17-11/21
Dear Parents,
Please note that this week we have two dictation sentences and 4 challenge words. Starting this now will give me a chance to see how the class does with dictation sentences. If the class does not do well I will go back to doing our spelling words the way we have been doing it. The sentences and words are sounds and spelling we have already done in class. Student should be familiar with short a and words ending with /k/ spelled ck. I have provided a sheet for spelling homework so they can study the sentences and words. Good Luck!
Dictation Sentences:
1. There is nothing here in this black sack.
2. When did Jack pack your snack?
Challenge Words:
slacks knack backpack crackers
Students will be graded on correct punctuatuation and capitalization. Points will be deducted if they leave these out. Also practice writing sentences with spaces between words.
