Just a reminder that we are in charge of coffee and donuts this Sunday. Please try to attend the 9:00 am mass with your family. It would be nice to see all the first grade families there. This week we will be exploring long I spelled i_e and author’ purpose in reading. I would also like to encourage you to come and be one of our mystery readers. About Me
- First Grade
- I am excited to be here at St. Jerome School. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself, as well as tell you what you can expect from me and your child this year. My name is Mariela Gonzalez and this will be my second year teaching here at St. Jerome. I previously worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District teaching First Grade. I took a three year break to help my husband with our business and now that he is settled I took the opportunity that this school so graciously offered me to do what I am most passionate about: Teaching. I look forward to getting to know you and your children and hope we can work closely to provide the best possible support for your child! I believe this will be a successful and happy experience for your first grader.
